Call for papers:
The scope of the conference includes but is not limited to the following: structural optimization (size, shape, and topology), materials and metamaterials design and optimization, multi-scale and multi-physics problems, metamodeling, systems design and optimization, optimization for additive manufacturing, optimization in biology, medicine, and biomedical fields, generative design, digital twins, evolutionary and Bayesian optimization, quantum algorithms for optimization, uncertainty modeling, reliability and robustness in design, the impact of large language models in engineering optimization, transfer learning and one-shot learning for optimization, and industry applications and case studies in optimal design, optimization in communication and networking, machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) for signal, image, and video processing, micro/nanoelectronic devices and circuits, artificial intelligence (AI), data science, and computing, power system optimization and control, semiconductor devices and material-level optimization, VLSI circuit design and RF front-end optimization, control and optimization, AI-, ML-, and intelligent optimization techniques, edge, cloud, and distributed computing, humanitarian technology and engineering education, control and instrumentation, green communication and sustainable energy optimization, optimization in power electronics and energy conversion, and multidisciplinary design analysis and optimization (MDAO) in aerospace, automotive, biomedical, and other engineering domains.

2. Paper length: 6-10 pages long, including the reference section.
3. Submission file type for peer-review: PDF format.

5. Each paper will be evaluated by at least two reviewers.

(Note: Full-length papers will be considered until August 7th, 2026 even without an abstract.)
1. Registration policy: At least one author must register for each accepted paper
2. Presentation policy: An accepted paper must be presented by an author or co-author at the scheduled date and time in-person during the conference to be included in the proceedings.
Selected peer-reviewed full-length papers presented at the conference will be published by Springer in an edited book titled "Advances in Multidisciplinary Design, Analysis and Optimization, Proceedings of the 9th National Conference on Advances in Multidisciplinary Design, Analysis and Optimization 2026; subjected to final quality check.
